3. Hosting

This website is hosted on Google Firebase (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). For details, please refer to Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

The use of Google Firebase is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. There is a legitimate interest in the reliable presentation of this website. If consent has been requested, processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Data Processing Agreement

Solventec has concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with Google. This is a contract required by data protection law, which ensures that Google only processes the personal data of website visitors according to instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

I take the protection of your personal data very seriously. Your personal data is treated confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

5. Data Collection on This Website

Server Log Files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits. These are:

• Referrer URL
• Host name of the accessing computer
• Time of the server request
• IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the secure and error-free operation of the website. How long the log files are kept is determined by the hosting provider Google; I do not use them for any other purpose.

6. Contact Form and Website Check

This website has two forms: the contact form and the form for the website check. Both use the same technical route. If you submit one of them, I process your details to answer your request or to review your website and send you the result.

Data Processed

Contact form: name, email address, company (optional), your message, the language of the page (German or English), time of receipt and the label website-contact-form.

Website check: your website address, name, email address, your note (optional), language of the page and time of receipt. The address and note are stored as the text of your request, which starts with "[Webseiten-Check]". Both forms are stored with the same label website-contact-form. For the check I visit the publicly accessible website.

When you submit a form, the server technically processes your IP address. To prevent abuse, it is kept in memory for at most 10 minutes to limit the number of requests in a short time; it is not stored permanently. The required fields are needed to answer your request. Without them I cannot process it; there is no legal obligation to provide them.

Purpose and Legal Basis

Contact form: handling your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request is aimed at a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering requests).

Website check: carrying out the check and sending the result at your request, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. I will only send you marketing afterwards with your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

Processing and Storage Location

Both forms send your details to a Google Cloud Function in region europe-west1 (Belgium). It stores the request in a Google Cloud Firestore database in region europe-west3 (Frankfurt am Main, Germany).

Emails

The function sends, via SMTP, a notification with your details to me and a confirmation of receipt to your email address. The email provider is Strato AG, Berlin, Germany.

Recipients

Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, as processor (Firebase/Google Cloud). A transfer to third countries, in particular to Google LLC in the USA, cannot be ruled out; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Retention Period

I delete your request as soon as it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. for quotes/invoices) prevent this.

7. Fonts

This website serves its fonts locally from its own server. No connection to Google Fonts or other font providers is made when you visit the site.

8. Cookies and Tracking

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or tracking tools.
